Description

This short film, winner of the 2022 ColorPro Film Festival and recognized by the 2022 Musicbed Awards in its category, was filmed across the peninsula of Antarctica, the mountains of Torres Del Paine and El Chalten. After witnessing the harsh effects of climate change in Antarctica, Beatrice embarked on a journey to find a way to share her story through a quest of conscious travel, a lifelong journey. From the southernmost city of Ushuaïa to the majestic peaks of Torres Del Paine, the team attempted to capture the essence of slow travel over 10 days and encountered a few challenges. Beatrice and Alexandra then immerse themselves in the mountains of El Chalten and Torres Del Paine for the next 4 months to truly take the time to understand the reality and have a better perspective.

The vision started in 2020 when Beatrice started pitching for sponsorships (thanks to Gutsy Kombucha, Guru Energy Drink and Laval University to make the project possible), then her having an idea to connected Antarctica’s frozen wilderness to Patagonia’s rugged terrain knowing that everything happening to our environment is connected.

This short film’s goal is to convey the message that small actions can lead to big changes.

Short Impactful Stories

For the promotion and raising awareness after the expedition, in collaboration with Reels with Gutsy Kombucha and a blog with Guru Energy, we shared the experience through a series of Vlog style short content.
